Doors are manufactured by bonding moulded GRP skins onto a robust, moisture resistant PVCu composite inner framework. The cavity is then injected with a dense, CFC free, polyurethane foam, providing outstanding thermal and sound reduction properties. The finished door blades are pre hung into specifically designed, low maintenance, twin sealed, PVCu doorframes, profiled to accept a mobility compliant, barrier free, high durability threshold as the integral fourth side. Locks, door furniture and double glazing, where applicable, are precisely factory fitted, minimising on site labour costs whilst facilitating problem free installation and future operation.

- Range of through colour coatings including Black, Blue, Green, Red and White, with White inside faces as standard, to complement interior finishes. Alternatively, customers can choose factory sprayed translucent shades such as Oak, Rosewood and Mahogany.

- Doors guaranteed against bowing, twisting, rotting, rusting, splitting, cracking or delamination. Significantly outperforms typical Steel faced, timber and PVCu doors, with regard to impact resistance. Up to five times better than timber and ten times more effective than steel in this respect.
- Independent third party accreditation via the BM Trada Enhanced security Q - Mark scheme, assures the specifier that all doorsets supplied are to the same exacting standards as those successfully tested to PAS23 & 24 Secured by Design performance standards.
- Significant sound reduction - dense polyurethene inner core and solid PVCu inner framework contribute to the impressive weighted sound reduction ratings of 32dB for half glazed door and 33dB for a solid style, well within Building regulation Part E standards.
- Outstanding stability - in sharp contrast to many thermoplastic composite and PVCu doors, PDS Fibreglass doors resist shrinking and swelling and will not exhibit harmful thermal distortion when exposed to high temperatures, or direct sunlight. - Market leading insulation properties - five times more efficient than traditional wooden doors with regard to preventing heat loss. All safety glazing is Part ‘L’ and Part ‘N’ compliant. Doorset U-value of 1.5 comfortably exceeding the requirements of building regulations approved document ‘ L’
- High performance weatherseals and adjustable lock keeps ensure excellent weather resistance and eliminates draughts.
- Addressing environmental and ecological concerns, the door core is CFC, HCFC and HFC free, and has a zero ODP and GWP rating. Low VOC Factory applied paint and stain finishes are waterbased, high build and microporous. The vast majority of manufacturing waste is
subsequently recycled.
- Half hour fire doorset also available in this range for flat entrance and high rise or multi level applications. Virtually indistinguishable from the standard entrance door,the FD30 door comes pre hung in a visually identical PVCu frame and is therefore ideal where a social Housing project, requires a consistent cosmetic appeal across a range of different housing stock.
