| PDS are often involved in the design and specification of scheme specific doorsets, liaising closely with our customer, the project consultant or architect, our customer’s client, where appropriate, and in some (refurbishment) situations the residents, with whom we come into contact at tenants liaison meetings or during the process of door styles and colours being chosen. In this latter context, we are able to provide personalised doorset choice forms, reduced or full size sample doors and even fully installed “pilot” doorsets. We also offer when applicable, factory or on - site training, covering aspects such as surveying & measuring,level access threshold implications, effective recording and communication of manufacturing dimensions and specification details, and doorset installation and troubleshooting techniques.
