PDS have built a solid reputation supplying a range of made- to- measure, low maintenance, enhanced security, external composite doorsets in timber and fibreglass, which have the look of traditional wooden doors but crucially, have none of the associated operational drawbacks, and consequently will not rot, bow, split, crack or experience other performance defects such as joint failure.
Responding swiftly to fresh industry demands and increasing specifier expectations, in terms of security, safety, energy efficiency and environmental awareness, we have now expanded our range to include several complementary items, in line with our policy to provide our customers with sustainable products that have a positive impact on end users and the environment. Accordingly, our range now includes: Secured by Design French doors, ECO Homes inspired timber doorsets, with terrific thermal efficiency, and high security PAS24 apartment entrance doors. Mindful of our customers wider requirements, we have also introduced a collection of flush FD30S and FD60S fire doors and doorsets with a comprehensive choice of veneered finishes, loose and pre hung frames, glazing aperture arrangements and glass specifications.
PDS continue to seek out and develop opportunities to enter into long term partnering arrangements with our customers and suppliers, in order to promote effective management of the respective supply and demand chains. In this latter context, we are able to provide personalised door choice forms, reduced or full size sample doors and even fully installed “pilot” doorsets. We also offer, when applicable, factory or on - site training, with regard to aspects such as surveying & measuring, recording and communication of manufacturing dimensions and specification details, and doorset installation and troubleshooting techniques.
