Polystyrene has high thermal resistance. Secondly, polystyrene foam contains millions of tiny air bubbles within its structure and air is a poor conductor of heat.
Resists moisture transfer offering more rigidity which combats common issues with timber doors such as hygrothermic bow.
The clear facing of the veneer allows for painting or staining of the door.
Our Eco doorset contains a double rebate with an additional weather seal, further increasing the thermal properties of the doorset but also aids in water-tightness and wind-resistance.
Due to the consistency of thickness the blade allows of a range of designs which include grooved designs without affecting the overall performance of the doorset. We can also create a panelled design.
Double glazing is available with P2A laminated glass for increase security. The units are filled with argon gas to increase thermal resistance and a warm edge spacer is used that can be offered in different colours upon request.
